What are private leagues?
Private leagues are invite-only competitions where you and your friends compete over a full season. Create a league, share the code, and everyone who joins plays a round-robin of matches. The league table tracks wins, draws, losses and points — just like real football.
Top finishers earn gold coin prizes, and the league features promotion and relegation to keep every match meaningful. Private leagues are the best way to play My Football Game with a group of friends.
How to create a private league
Open the Leagues tab in My Football Game and tap "Create League". Choose a name, set the entry fee (in coins), and you'll receive a unique invite code. Share this code with your friends via WhatsApp, Discord, or any messaging app. Players join by entering the code in the "Join League" screen.
There's no limit on the number of members, so you can run anything from a 4-person group to a 50-person community league.
Tips for a great league season
- Set a group chat — league rivalries thrive on banter. Create a WhatsApp or Discord group for your league members.
- Play regularly — a league is only fun when everyone plays their matches. Encourage weekly challenges between members.
- Share results — use the share button after matches to post results to your group chat. Nothing motivates a rematch like a public scoreline.
- Track the table — check the standings regularly. Close title races and relegation battles make the season exciting.
