The market is where titles are built
Every manager gets a similar starting squad. What separates the top of the leaderboard from everyone else is what they do on the transfer market. Coins spent well compound: better players win more matches, which earn more coins.
Buy for need, not for excitement
Before browsing, write down your two weakest starting positions. Those are your targets. A shiny high-rated forward is tempting, but if your defence leaks two goals a game, that's where the coins should go.
Upgrading a weak starter by a few rating points typically beats upgrading a strong starter by the same amount - your team is only as strong as its weakest link in the simulation.
Sell before you buy
Squad players who never make your eleven are frozen coins. List them, price them fairly, and reinvest. A leaner squad with a higher-quality core wins more matches than a deep squad of average players - just keep one solid backup per area of the pitch for suspensions.
Price patience pays
The market moves. Similar players are often listed at very different prices, so compare before committing and never buy the first option you see. If your budget is short of a target, play a few more matches and claim your daily bonus - impulse buys at bad prices are how budgets die.
Train what you cannot buy
Training raises your players' attributes over time and costs less than a transfer. For young or nearly-good-enough players, training is the value play - buy finished players only for positions where you need instant quality.
